BASEBAND SIGNALING
A data transmission technology that uses digital signaling directly on the media without modulating a carrier. This high bandwidth transmission must also include to pass direct current (DC) - the zero frequency signal, the base of the frequency band, hence Baseband. There may be only one transmitter at a time on the media and attached devices receive all signals.
