APPLELOCALTALK
A Layer 2 networking protocol developed by Apple Corporation used to carry AppleTalk traffic. Also called just LocalTalk and found in older Apple and MAC computers, it is used to connect peer workstations, printers, and other devices. It has been phased out in favor of faster Ethernet and USB connections.
