SAA
IBM's framework for developing consistent applications across the company's three major computing environments: the System/390, the AS/400, iSeries 400, and PCs running OS/2. SAA is neither hardware nor software, but it is a specification-a collection of interface standards, conventions and protocols-designed to provide consistency in four areas: communications support, user access, applications, and programming interface.
